2. Days-on-Lot Estimates

Days-on-lot figures displayed on Caristotle are estimates derived from third-party inventory data feeds. These figures may be calculated from listing date, feed ingestion date, or other available signals, and may not match a dealer's internal records.

A vehicle shown as "90 days on lot" may have been listed more recently, relisted after a price change, or have a different internal history at the dealership. Do not treat displayed days-on-lot figures as a certified or dealer-verified fact. Verify directly with the selling dealer.

3. Negotiation Scores and Leverage Indicators

Caristotle's NegotiationMeter scores, leverage ratings, and related indicators are heuristic estimates based on inventory age, market supply, and model year data. They are not guarantees of dealer flexibility, discount availability, or any particular outcome in negotiation.

A high leverage score does not mean the dealer will accept a lower price. A low leverage score does not mean negotiation is impossible. These signals are tools for informed inquiry, not predictions of dealer behavior.

4. Pricing Disclaimer

Vehicle prices shown on Caristotle are sourced from third-party data feeds and may not reflect the dealer's current advertised or actual asking price. Prices may exclude dealer-installed options, documentation fees, title, registration, sales tax, reconditioning costs, and other charges that affect the out-the-door price.

Always confirm pricing directly with the selling dealer before visiting or making any commitment.

5. Vehicle Availability

Inventory shown on Caristotle may be sold, removed, or no longer available at any time. We update our inventory data regularly, but there may be a delay between when a vehicle sells and when it is removed from our platform. Caristotle is not responsible for listings that appear available but are no longer for sale.

6. No Savings Guarantee

Caristotle does not guarantee that using this platform will result in a better price, discount, or favorable transaction outcome. Market conditions, dealer policies, individual negotiation dynamics, and many other factors outside our control affect the final terms of any vehicle purchase.

7. Third-Party Data Accuracy

Vehicle information displayed on Caristotle is aggregated from third-party data sources including MarketCheck and Auto.dev. We apply data quality filters but cannot verify the accuracy of every listing detail. Mileage, trim, condition, color, and other specifications may contain errors introduced at the source.

Always verify vehicle details — including VIN, title history, recall status, odometer reading, and mechanical condition — independently before purchasing.
